Jules Dejaeghere

Jules’ research focuses on the development of a system to create modular applications where some components can be updated automatically. This approach makes it easy to keep a distributed program up to date without having to deploy a new version when only part of the application could be updated. In addition, the system removes the interoperability constraint between different versions of the same application: since updates are automatic, they can be downloaded before being applied globally on the distributed system at a specific time. This process allows the entire system to be upgraded to a new version without having to remain compatible with previous versions.
