Serena Lucca graduated from the Master of Civil Engineering in Computer Science in 2022 at UCLouvain. Since then, she works as a PhD student in Axel Legay’s team. Her research focuses on malware analysis and detection using symbolic execution. She also works on packer detection using dynamic analysis. Based on these analyses, it is possible to define detection criteria that are then used by machine learning algorithms to classify a large number of samples.
